Council on the Ageing (COTA) - www.cota.org.au

COTA is committed to helping older Victorians and has partnered with CCW to provide relevant information and resources.

The COTA Victoria Information Line on 1300 13 50 90 provides free, practical information on services like:

  • Aged and home care
  • Finance
  • Legal advice
  • Pensions and concessions
  • Public transport
  • Housing
  • Utilities
  • Technology

COTA also offers specific assistance with My Aged Care, the Australian government's aged care information service, which can be complex and difficult to navigate.

In addition to this, COTA Victoria has released a series of comprehensive how-to guides. These guides provide in-depth guidance and resources on various topics, from a positive approach to bereavement to helping to build supportive communities. You can view the guides here.
