Support Resources

If you have recently farewelled a loved one, you may be feeling a range of emotions. You may also have questions about where to access support if you need it. You might wonder how you will be feeling weeks or months into the future, or how you can continue to honour and celebrate the life of the person you miss deeply, when you miss them most.

Losing a loved one is one of the most challenging human experiences – and each and every one of us has our own way of moving through grief. The downloadable fact sheets, books and support organisations below may help.

We are truly sorry for your loss.

Remembering together

When you are feeling the physical absence of a loved one, it may help to remember that you are not alone. This can be especially true on days of significance, which can be especially challenging, like Mother’s Day, Father’s Day or at Christmas time.

Many of our families find comfort in coming together for memorial events held each year. It’s a chance to honour and celebrate the life of your loved one, perhaps share memories or pay tribute with words of love. All remembrance events are free and open to all, with opportunities to participate either online or, where possible, in person.
