Serving the community

SMCT regularly communicates with the Department of Health and enjoys a positive working relationship with the support team who provide invaluable guidance on the Act and our governance. We work cooperatively with other cemetery trusts and industry associations and are open to exchanging information and sharing ideas.

We welcome business-to-business partner sponsorship of our many events and initiatives, offering tailored partnerships. Our community events attract large numbers and include the Mother’s and Father’s Day services, and Christmas Remembrance services, amongst others.
