Redefined the Way People View Memorial Parks Forever
Bunurong Memorial Park is a unique sanctuary, set within contemporary Australian parkland with unique touches at every turn. Purpose-built for the community to enjoy, there's a modern alfresco cafe, children's playground, distinctive art pieces and walking paths that help you experience its vast beauty.
Any day of the week, you are welcome to enjoy the grounds, walk the dog, rest on a lawn, enjoy a picnic or explore this unique property by bike. There is something for everyone within our ever-changing gardens.
Throughout the Park, rich textual elements, sculptures and integrated waterways create unique points of interest and add privacy throughout the gardens. Birds and wildlife enhance the natural landscape, making Bunurong Memorial Park a perfect destination to reflect on life.
At Bunurong Memorial Park we are committed to offering choice, flexibility and value to our communities. Regardless of a person’s cultural, religious or personal preferences, we believe that everyone should be able to honour and celebrate life in the way that they choose. Bunurong is an inspiring place of remembrance, designed to meet the needs of the community now and into the future.
Dedicated to sustainability all Bunurong Memorial Park's organic waste is recycled on-site and reused within the cemetery for garden bed preparation. Extensive water management programs, including recycled water tank facilities, help us provide responsibly managed water throughout the grounds.
Working around the year our team keep the grounds in pristine condition.
We are proud of the community space we have created and encourage everyone to visit. Each passing season, the gardens present an array of colour and floral perfumes that inspire life and leave you enriched with each visit.
Due to the Frankston-Dandenong Road intersection upgrade, the roundabout will be closed for 5 weeks from Friday 5 June, 7 pm to Monday 13 July, 5 am.
Significant delays are expected while the closure is in place, especially during peak travel periods. The best entrance to Bunurong Memorial Park is from Dandenong-Frankston Road via Greens Road. We advise that you plan ahead when attending services at BMP during this time. For further information visit roadprojects.vic.gov.au.
