We want to share an important update regarding SMCT’s leadership changes effective 20 January 2025.
Thank you Lucinda
After starting in February this year, our Interim CEO Lucinda Nolan has been nothing short of extraordinary. Her leadership and dedication have not only ensured that SMCT continued to operate seamlessly but have also propelled us forward in several critical areas.
As Lucinda prepares to step down as CEO in January 2025, I want to express my heartfelt gratitude for all that she has accomplished. Her contributions have positioned SMCT for a bright future, and we are immensely grateful for her unwavering commitment.
Please join me in warmly thanking Lucinda for her outstanding service and wishing her every success and happiness in her next endeavours.
Introducing our new CEO – Ingrid Harvey
After an extensive and comprehensive search, the Trust is excited to announce the appointment of Ingrid Harvey as our new Chief Executive Officer.
Ingrid is committed to SMCT’s long-term success. She brings over 20 years of executive leadership experience across consumer-centric and community-focused industries, including telecommunications, retail, and healthcare. Her career includes significant roles in private and publicly listed organisations, both domestically and internationally, demonstrating exceptional strategic and operational leadership.
Most recently, Ingrid served as the CEO of BlueCross AgedCare, Australia’s 11th largest aged care provider, where she led the organisation with distinction, culminating in its successful sale in June 2024. Her ability to deliver results while fostering a strong sense of purpose and community has cemented her reputation as a transformational leader.
Ingrid’s leadership style is marked by authenticity, empathy and adaptability. She is passionate about cultivating positive organisational cultures and thrives in dynamic, fast-paced environments. Known for her collaborative approach, Ingrid excels at engaging multidisciplinary teams and working with diverse stakeholders to achieve shared goals. Her steadfast focus on delivering exceptional customer outcomes aligns with our values, mission and vision for the future.
We are delighted that Ingrid will officially join us on 20 January 2025. She will work closely with Lucinda during a handover period to ensure a seamless transition. This approach will enable Ingrid to build on the strong foundation established by Lucinda and continue driving the Trust’s success in serving our communities.
We encourage you to warmly welcome Ingrid when she joins in January and share your insights and experiences as we all shape the future of SMCT together.
