National Miscarriage Awareness Day is a remembrance day for anyone impacted by the loss of a baby through miscarriage. An event to commemorate National Miscarriage Awareness Day is being held on Sunday 7 May 2023 at Bunurong Memorial Park in Dandenong South at 2:00 pm. This free event will provide an opportunity for bereaved parents and families to remember their baby. Support information will be provided, and afternoon tea will be available after the event. Doors open at 1:45 pm.
This event has been organised by Miscarriage Information Support Services, a community service providing information and resources to support women, men, partners, and families, who have lost a baby through miscarriage. This event is being supported by Southern Metropolitan Cemeteries Trust. The event should conclude at approximately 3:30 pm. All are welcome.
