Southern Metropolitan Cemeteries Trust (SMCT) is a public entity purposed with providing cemetery, cremation and related support services to the community on the government’s behalf.
About SMCT
As a Class A Cemetery Trust and public entity reporting to the Minister for Health, we guide families through the important decisions they face when someone dies. Since 2010, SMCT has proudly supported Victorians in their grief, operating under the Cemeteries and Crematoria Act 2003 (Vic).
We are dedicated to offering inclusive and accessible services to all Victorians.
