The Southern Metropolitan Cemeteries Trust (SMCT) Community Advisory Committee is a high-level committee, appointed in an advisory capacity to SMCT. The committee has been established to:
- give the community and consumers an opportunity to provide input/feedback and make recommendations in order to enhance SMCT’s decision making processes
- advise SMCT through recommendations and suggestions regarding appropriate strategies for effective consumer and community participation
- advocate on behalf of the community and consumers.
